Martin Fessenmaier
Mr. Fessenmaier graduated from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, with a M.S. in Biology with a focus on genetics, physiology, biochemistry and organic chemistry. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology in 1993 magna cum laude at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, and was awarded in 1994 a DFG research grant for a postdoctoral fellowship at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. After completion of his post doctoral fellowship, Mr. Fessenmaier took on the position of a project leader in a San Diego biotechnology firm, developing various diagnostic test kits for analytes from biological fluids.
