Nick Witchey, Ph.D.

Nick WitcheyNick has substantial experience with patent prosecution and preparation, as well as assisting clients with strategic and tactical development of their patent portfolios.  Nick has considerable knowledge of software and firmware technologies, internet protocols and technologies, and network storage solutions.

Nick also has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting patents under the patent office’s accelerated examination program.

Previous Experience

Before joining the firm, Nick was the director of intellectual property at Zetera Corporation.  Prior to this, Nick held the position of director of software engineering with Lantronix Corporation. Nick also was previously employed by U.S. Software Corp. as a software engineer and engineering manager.

During his graduate studies, Nick worked for Kansas State University as a physics research associate.
