The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) administers the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications, and also hosts a website with a wealth of information regarding foreign patents. PCT applications cover most countries of interest for patent filings, with the notable exception of Middle Eastern countries. A good source of information regarding intellectual property in those countries is the Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) website.
